Linda Nolan voted out of Celebrity Big Brother

Linda Nolan's stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house has come to an end after she became the latest housemate to be evicted by the public.

The singing sister lost out in a five-way vote on Friday night's show which saw her finish behind fellow nominees Jim Davidson, Luisa Zissman, Ollie Locke and Lee Ryan.

And despite a largely hostile reaction from the crowd outside the house - who had turned against her following her ongoing feud with Jim - Linda appeared remarkably composed as she returned to the real world.

Afterwards she addressed the issue, admitting they had had their moments - but adding that things weren't quite as bad as they had appeared.

I don't want to spend my whole interview talking about Jim Davidson,' she told Emma Willis. "But I think Jim is a game player, he says one thing to your face and then he hear that he's slagging you behind your back which he did with all of us."

She added: "It didn't consume most of our time in the house. Jim went to a really low place when we had our arguments. He brought my husband into an argument and my husband is dead.

"The reason I started doing silly things is because Jim reminded me how much I missed my husband, he went below the belt and that was the problem."

Linda is the fifth contestant to leave the house following Evander Holyfield, Jasmine Waltz, Lionel Blair and Liz Jones.

Friday night's show also saw Emma Willis tell the remaining seven housemates - who also include Sam Faiers, Casey Batchelor and Dappy - that they had all made it to the final next week.

However an unexpected twist will see one of them evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Sunday night.
