Luisa Zissman, Sam Faiers among new CBB housemates

Former Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman and TOWIE star Sam Faiers are among the 12 new contestants who have entered the Celebrity Big bRother house as the 2014 series of the show kicked off.

The pair are among a line-up which also includes N-Dubz rapper Dappy - cousin of former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos - as well as showbiz legend Lionel Blair and controversial journalist Liz Jones.

Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke, boxer Evander Holyfield, Nolan sibling Linda and comedian Jim Davidson have also entered the house along with Blue's Lee Ryan.

The line-up was completed by a couple of relative unknowns - glamour model Casey Batchelor and American actress Jasmine Waltz, who hit the headlines for her affair with Courteney Cox's ex-husband David Arquette.

However it hasn't been plain sailing for the newcomers, who were faced with a fiendish twist before they even set foot in the house.

The 12 were sent into the house in six pairs, each handcuffed to one of their fellow housemates, with Big Brother warning them they would remain that way until further notice.

Jim and Linda were manacled together, while Dappy found himself shackled to Liz Jones, and Sam Faiers was joined with Jasmine Waltz.

Meanwhile Lee Ryan was handcuffed to Casey Batchelor, Ollie and Lionel have been put together, and Luisa went into the house attached to Evander Holyfield.

A further twist once inside saw Jim and Linda given the chance to free one pair or themselves - choosing Dappy and Liz on the grounds that they appeared 'stressed' by their predicament.

However the pair then learned that they would then face the first public vote next Wednesday as a penalty for being released.

Celebrity Big Brother continues on Channel 5 on Saturday night at 10pm.
