Five Coronation Street residents are set to find themselves under suspicion for the murder of factory boss Frank Foster. The rapist, played by Andrew Lancel, is discovered in a pool of blood on the factory floor next month. Frank argues with his enemies, associates and lovers in the days before he is bludgeoned to death, leaving police baffled as to the identity of his murderer. Carla Connor, who was raped by Frank, is in the frame along with the soap villain's ex-lover Sally Webster. Earlier this month viewers saw Frank walk free from court after he was found not guilty of raping Carla. Carla's partner Peter Barlow, her colleague Michelle Connor and Sally's ex-husband Kevin Webster are also suspected. Actress Alison King believes her alter ego Carla is capable of murder, saying: "She just wants him out of her life, she can't stand him and she'd do whatever it takes to get rid of him." Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, said: "Michelle's definitely involved in the mix somewhere", while Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Webster, added: "Sally's got lots of reasons to want to do something very bad to Frank."
