Watching Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) tell little Hope that she’s sick was hard last night.
“You've got to go back to hospital for some special medicines," Tyrone explains to Hope.
“Will the medicine make me better?” asks Hope.
Tyrone couldn’t bear it and raced out of the room.
“Course it will,” Fiz told Hope, holding her tightly.
But Hope has an aggressive form of cancer and you could see that Fiz isn’t sure of anything.
And in the run-up to Christmas, Fiz and Tyrone are going to become less and less sure of Hope’s future.

Coronation Street boss Stuart Blackburn has told viewers to prepare for the worst.
Which is why Fiz and Tyrone will be doing everything they can to make it a Christmas Hope will remember.
“It’s going to be the best Christmas Day ever,” says Stuart. “Santa Claus - he is real and he is genuinely coming.”
To take Hope to his wonderland?
Coronation Street continues on ITV, Monday, September 5, 7.30pm.
