Coronation Street babe Michelle Keegan has revealed she was banned from sunbathing on holiday so she wouldn't look tanned when she got back on the cobbles.
The soap star plays barmaid Tina McIntyre, who is currently pregnant with a surrogate baby for friends Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong.
Michelle recently enjoyed some winter sun in Dubai with rumoured new boyfriend Mark Wright.
She told the Daily Star: "I didn't sunbathe because I'm supposed to be in the middle of a pregnancy. So I was good and tried not to go as dark as I normally go. I put factor 30 sunscreen on."
But she still caught the sun and so the make-up department had to try and hide her tan.
She revealed: "They put a tinted moisturiser, two shades lighter than my real tone and white powder, on to my hands, neck and face."
Michelle revealed she had once 'panicked' the make-up department when she went on holiday at a time when Tina was supposed to be stuck indoors with depression, so they had to write her tan into the show.

She said: "I remember two years ago when Tina was depressed, I only went away for four days, but I came back quite dark and [the] make-up [department] panicked.
"They sent an email asking if it could be written that Tina had been on a sunbed or got a fake tan."
