Ex-EastEnder Pooja Shah is heading over to rival soap Coronation Street. The actress, who played Walford's Kareena Ferreira, has been cast on the cobbles as DC Moore. The soap's website revealed that she will set about investigating 'a situation' involving Tracy Barlow, who is set to return to Weatherfield following a stint behind bars. Pooja has already begun filming at the show and will appear in eight episodes. In a recent interview with Inside Soap, she admitted she was 'upset' her EastEnders family were axed before viewers had a chance to see her character develop. But she said she would not rule out revisiting the world of soap. "Some people do get the most wonderful storylines and to have financial stability is great. While they're not soaps, I'd love to be a regular in Holby City or Casualty." Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
