Jackie fights for Tyrone!

Coronation Street's Margi Clarke reveals Tyrone’s mum is back and she’s going to make Molly pay for dumping him… Why is Jackie back? "You know how a mother always knows her own baby's cry when it's in the maternity ward? Well Jackie picks up on Tyrone's pain." How does she react when Connie lets slip that Molly has left Tyrone? "She's outraged. Tyrone’s not like Jackie. He doesn't steal, fight or tell lies. He's 100 per cent good and soft-hearted. No one's fighting his corner so she decides to do it." Is Tyrone happy to see his mum? "About as happy as a condemned man but she tells him she’s staying until she’s sure he’s OK." Will she be a proper mum to him? "Of course not. She wants to keep her feet under the table for as long as she can. She’s been staying in a hostel and hasn't got two ha'pennies to rub together." But she is going to back him up? "Absolutely. But she wants him to be tougher and not such a doormat." She visits Molly… What happens? "Jackie goes into the shop and pretends to buy a tin of beans. She hurls accusations at Molly and calls her a ‘plate-faced slapper.’ Molly retaliates with a bucket of water and things get physical." Is Molly frightened? "Yes and funnily enough actress Vicky Binns was scared of me too! The pair throw each other around. It was so full-on we had to get four security men to support the set." Does Jackie have any idea why Molly left Tyrone? "As soon as she sees Dev, who she keeps calling Des, she thinks the problem’s solved and that Molly had an affair with him." If she found out it was Kevin would she tell Tyrone? "Of course she would." Will she stick around for Tyrone? "Afraid not. She’s done more runners than Paula Radcliffe and this time won't be any different." How long is she back this time? "Five episodes but I hope she returns. It would be nice to come back later in the year for the 50th anniversary celebrations." Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
