Julie Walters: 'I love Coronation Street!' (VIDEO)

Julie Walters has confessed she's a huge fan of Coronation Street and EastEnders. The award-winning actress, who plays a woman facing terminal illness in the upcoming BBC drama A Short Stay in Switzerland, admitted that after a hard day's filming, she likes nothing more than to go home and watch soaps on TV. She told whatsontv.co.uk: "My favourite is Coronation Street. I'm a bit of a soap fiend... Corrie, EastEnders. And I like The Bill, it's marvellous. It's really well made considering the time they have to make it." She added: "There's some amazing acting in soaps - sometimes better than some of the Oscars stuff!"
