Michelle Keegan to launch her own high street fashion line

Michelle Keegan is launching her own fashion line.

The Coronation Street star, who has already filmed her final scenes in the soap, has signed up to become brand ambassador and designer for Lipsy.

The high street brand said Michelle's 'effortlessly show-stopping look made her the only choice to become its style star,' in the project, which will see her 'step into the fashion industry'.

Michelle said: "I have spent a lot of time over the last few months working closely with the Lipsy design team to make sure that each piece in my collection is something I am excited about wearing.

"My collection is classic, unfussy and feminine in style, and I can't wait for it to hit the high street."

Michelle has created 30 pieces for the Autumn 2014 collection, which will launch online and in stores in July.

Michelle has spent more than six years playing barmaid Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street and her exit scenes will be shown on May 26 with Tina being murdered.

Away from the soap, she has been planning her wedding to former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright.
