Roy dons rubbish rocker disguise as he seeks to expose Rosemary tonight!

Roy is a man on a mission

Roy Cropper dons a ridiculous pair of shades and a Motorhead cap in tonight’s Coronation Street as he attempts to expose psychic Rosemary as a fraud.

Weatherfield’s unlikeliest Motorhead fan wants to stop Rosemary (Sophie Thompson) from conning Gail out of £3,000 to lift an imaginary curse Richard Hillman has placed on the Platt family.

In his quest to expose Rosemary – who is in league with conman Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) – Roy enlists the help of Audrey and Cathy Matthews as he heads to Rosemary’s psychic event at a church hall in tonight’s double bill.

Roy’s disguise is quickly rumbled by Gail and asked by her why he’s at the event, Roy replies that despite his scepticism, what Rosemary said about his late wife Hayley “intrigued him”.

Rosmary takes the stage

Is Rosemary at last going to be exposed as a fraud?

However, of course, that’s not the real reason he’s there and, like Baldrick in Blackadder, Roy apparently has a “cunning plan” to finally unmask Rosemary as fraud.

“Trust me Audrey, there is method to my madness… wait and see,” says Roy.

Coronation Street is on tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
