Dancing On Ice's oldest competitor, Aggie MacKenzie, has hurt herself after falling in the rink just days before the ITV1 show kicks off. The How Clean Is Your House? host was left in tears and had to be taken off the ice after suffering a hamstring injury during training for Sunday's opening show on Thursday night. An ITV spokeswoman said: "After practicing a turn with dance partner Sergey Malyshev, Aggie missed her footing and took a nasty fall. "Sergey became worried after Aggie failed to get up and paramedics were rushed on to the ice to assist. Aggie was then removed from the ice and treated at the side of the rink where she was left in tears and shaken" Aggie apparently hopes to get back on her skates for the performance, although the show's physiotherapist warned it will affect how she does. The physiotherapist said: "It's a very painful injury but we're hoping she's going to be fine for the show. It will hamper her performance." Aggie is one of 12 celebrities taking part in the series. Dancing on Ice begins on Sunday January 13 at 5.50pm on ITV1.
