Matt scores full house in DOI final

It was a triumphant night for Matt Lapinskas on Sunday's Dancing On Ice final after he notched up two perfect scores from the judges.

The former EastEnders actor had fallen one point short of the magic full house on last weekend's show - but he kicked off Sunday's semi-final with a sensational 'showcase' routine which was rewarded with 40 out of 40 from the panel.

And just moments later he did it all over again, scoring another perfect 40 for his performance to Chris Brown's Turn Up The Music - a routine he performed earlier in the series.

"It is so exciting to sit there and watch," Karen Barber told him. "You can only work with what you are given and Matt you gave so much.

Meanwhile Jason Gardiner added: "You are why I love the final, because we get somebody who has got the entire package but then brings it and smashes it.

"The biggest compliment I could pay to you is that I could not differentiate between you and the pros."

He wowed the judges again later on in the show with his Turn Up The Music routine - which began with him perched on top of a giant speaker set and saw him perform a lot of tricky moves on the ice alongside partner Brianne Delcourt.

"Brianne is one of our best professionals - you match her in intensity," Jason said. "You make this partnership work together."

Matt was the only finalist to receive full marks from the judges during the course of Sunday's show.

Beth Tweddle scored 36.5 for her showcase routine to Rose Royce's Car Wash, and 37.5 for her reprisal of her Valentine's routine to Emeli Sande's Clown.

Meanwhile Luke Campbell's opening routine - to Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love - scored 34.5, while he picked up 32.5 for his reprisal of the routine he performed to One Direction's Little Things.
