Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has joined the list of celebrities tipped to take part in the next series of Dancing On Ice, according to The Sun. The paper reports that the socialite has been taking skating lessons in a bid to impress producers, who have been recruiting names for what will be the eighth series of the show. And a source close to the 40-year-old told the paper that she was very hopeful she would make it on to the show. "Tara is really keen to get on board and has been applying herself to learning the skating basics," the insider said. A string of celebrities have already been tipped to take part in the next series, which will begin in January. They include model turned bodybuilder Jodie Marsh, EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas, former England manager Glenn Hoddle and twin duo Jedward - with reports suggesting the pair would compete separately as two contestants. The show is facing a potential shake-up after the most recent series - which was won by Emmerdale's Matthew Woldenden - was accused of being dull. Producers are reportedly on a quest to find bigger names to take part in the next series, while it has not yet been confirmed whether judges Louie Spence, Katarina Witt and Robin Cousins will return.
