The latest episode of Dancing on Ice has been marked by spats on and off camera revolving round the performances of contestants Suzanne Shaw and Greg Rusedski. Suzanne Shaw and partner Matt danced to Walk on By with a unique maneouvre that was dubbed A Walkover. Jayne Torvill said she had never seen it on the ice before and judges gave them a total of 23.5 points. But judge Nicky Slater said: "...where is the skating? There is very little skating on the ice. A couple of steps then lift, a couple of steps then lift.” Karen Barber said: “I think you’ve missed the point of the whole thing. Four out of the five judges disagree with you.” Jason Gardiner added: “It’s not easy doing those lifts and tricks and I think you are missing everything.” During a commercial break the studio audience were horrified when Karen, Jason, Robin Cousins and Ruthie Henshall had a furious row with Nicky for giving the former Hear'Say singer a low score, according to The Sun. A source said: "Four of them gave Suzanne really high marks, but Nicky gave four out of six. They were talking quite heatedly and when it cut to a commercial break it all kicked off. "Karen was shouting at Nicky, Nicky was shouting. Jason got involved." The argument became so heated the shows producers allegedly stepped in and put the judges in separate rooms. Greg Rusedki and partner Kristina danced to Hey Jude by The Beatles, earning a combined score of 16. But once again judge Jason ridiculed his performance. Jason said: “Greg you have the charisma of cardboard. There is no oomph in your performance. It starts at one level and doesn’t move. You are dull as dishwater. The thing is we are on week six now and you are nowhere near the standard that you should be.” Greg responded: “This was my best performance so far. Jason has it in for me so who cares! “There’s nothing I can do about that. Ruthie saw an improvement. Maybe I can get to the final and see what happens.” Jason countered: “If you get to the final I won’t be.” Host Phillip Schofield said: “Yes he will - you’ve signed a contract.” For the record, javelin champion Steve Backley was the latest celebrity to be voted off Dancing on Ice on Sunday night.
