Desperate Housewives 'Julie' set to return
Andrea Bowen is returning to Desperate Housewives, it has been revealed. The 19-year-old actress will reprise her role as Susan Mayer's daughter, Julie, in the upcoming sixth season of the TV show. US network ABC would only confirm that Andrea is set to appear in the season premiere, but a source told Entertainment Weekly that the actress will be returning to Wisteria Lane as a series regular. Andrea disappeared from Desperate Housewives at the end of the fourth season. She briefly returned last season when Julie, on a break from college, announced that she was dating her 40-year-old professor Lloyd. There will also be a new resident - Maiara Walsh, who guest-starred on the last two episodes of season five as Ana, Carlos' manipulative teenage niece. The 21-year-old will join the cast as a series regular, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
