Desperate Housewives is going to see the return of a 'major character', according to the show's executive producer Marc Cherry. "A major character from the first two seasons will be featured in the last five minutes of the season finale," series creator Marc Cherry said during a panel discussion at Los Angeles' Paley Centre for Media. "The cast doesn't even know who," he added. There were no hints as to who would be making the return, but People.com reports that Marc gave a sly smile when asked if the returning character could be Gaby's hunky gardener, played by Jesse Metcalfe. Marc also told the audience not to rule out a reconciliation between characters Susan (Teri Hatcher) and her ex Mike Delfino (James Denton). "I would imagine at some point in the time continuum Susan and Mike will find their way back to each other," he said. Get exclusive access to your favourite stars. Subscribe to TV Times magazine
