Jo Joyner reveals how Max can win back Tanya

If Max wants Tanya back he’ll have to marry her again, reveals EastEnders actress Joy Joyner. Is Tanya falling in love with Max again? “I don’t think Tanya ever stopped having feelings for Max. She got jealous when she thought he’d spent the night with another woman and I think eventually she’ll have him back.” Why? “She’s such a one-man woman and she forgives him because she’s like that.” But what about her brief date with hunky Doctor Al? “Tanya was quite thrilled that Max was so jealous of her and Dr Al. She blamed him for messing things up with Al when really he was put off by her baggage. But dating Al boosted her confidence and Max and Tanya have now reached a point where things are amicable between them." And even Lauren looks like she'd like Max home again… “Tanya was encouraged by the fact Lauren and Abi tried to set up a date between them a few weeks back.” She’s not so encouraged when she arrives home to find Max has prepared a candlelit dinner for two... “Max moves in for a kiss, but Tanya pushes him off. The problem is still trust. He’s told her too many lies.” So how could he clinch the deal? With a wedding? “I’ve always felt it’s inevitable they’ll get back together. People come up and say to me, ‘Don’t take him back!’ And I suppose they have a point as Max is likely to cheat again. But it’s not like he’s a sadistic, cruel or violent man. He’s just a stupid bloke and I don’t think Tanya can live without him. I’d love it if they had a second wedding. Tanya loves a party.”
