Lauren asks Peter to marry her in EastEnders!

EastEnders' Lauren Branning is spurred into action by the sight of boyfriend Peter Beale in his running gear - and asks him to marry her.

The pair grew close after the murder of Peter's sister and Lauren's friend Lucy last April and in August Peter (Ben Hardy) dumped his girlfriend Lola Pearce to be with Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa).

Lauren really lets her feelings run away with her next week after Peter's success in the Walford half marathon. But how long can the young couple's happiness last?

Lucy's killer is set to be revealed on February 19 in a special live episode for the BBC soap's 30th anniversary - and the murderer's identity is set to turn Albert Square upside down.
