Police have to restrain Ian Beale as Jake is arrested in EastEnders

Ian and Peter Beale have to be held back by police after they see a suspect being arrested for Lucy's murder in EastEnders.

Since Lucy was found dead on Good Friday it has been a traumatic time for her dad, Ian (Adam Woodyatt), and brother, Peter (Ben Hardy).

So when police swoop on Albert Square and arrest chef Jake Stone (Jamie Lomas) as a suspect in their murder investigation, that emotion erupts into anger and Ian and Peter react furiously.

Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and pub landlord Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) hold the emotional father and son back to stop them getting themselves arrested as they lunge, raging, at Jake.

Police make their arrest and Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) makes a statement revealing Jake had sent an anonymous email the night of Lucy's death.

The scenes will screen on EastEnders on May 12.
