Stacey Slater has had a rough few months culminating in her ill-advised blond dye-job, but next week on EastEnders she gets the news her mum's been dreading. The week starts with yet another fracas between Stacey and Tanya, which ends with Stacey falling and badly cutting her head. When she's admitted to hospital, mum Jean reveals her bipolar fears to a nurse. Later, Stacey tearfully reveals all her bizarre behaviour to a doctor, who makes the diagnosis. Maybe, just maybe, this will be the catalyst for her getting well again...
