Details of Aaron Livesy's Emmerdale comeback revealed!

Earlier this year it was revealed that Aaron Livesy (played by Danny Miller) would be returning to Emmerdale and it seems the fugitive's return comes not a moment too soon.

With his best friend Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) heading for disaster, Emmerdale producer Kate Oates says Aaron is in a race against time to save his pal.

"When Aaron hears that his best mate Adam is going off the rails, he rushes to his side," she explains. "But the question is, will he get back in time?"

During his time on the show Aaron was involved in a number of high-profile stories, most famously the 2011 plot that saw him help tetraplegic partner Jackson Walsh (Marc Silcock) take his own life.

Aaron eventually fled the village in 2012 after being accused of setting fire to the village garage, although viewers know though Adam actually started the blaze and that Aaron took the blame for his friend's actions.

Now Aaron is set to return to Emmerdale just as Adam spirals out of control following the revelation that James Barton (Bill Ward) is his real father. When a drunken Adam causes an farming accident that seriously injures Andy Sugden, Adam needs his old pal's help.

"Those two have a very deep friendship, and even though Aaron knows Adam is straight and there can never be anything romantic between them, he really loves him," Oates told Inside Soap. "So when we knew Adam's life was going to be turned upside down, we knew that it was a good opportunity for Aaron to come home."
