Real-life Emmerdale couple Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry say they have no problem working together on the ITV soap because their characters never interact!

The couple, who play bad boy Cain Dingle and vet Rhona Goskirk in Emmerdale, told What's on TV at the British Soap Awards that they don't really work together.

Zoe said: "We're ships in the night sometimes at work. We talk about our days at home, but our characters are not friends. I think we've had one or two words together in the last four years!"

Jeff continued: "My character did come onto you years ago..."

Zoe responded: "About 12 years ago, when I first arrived, but not since. I think he learned his lesson. I dissed him."

"She absolutely blew me out!" said Jeff.
