Emmerdale exit: 'It's the dethroning of Nathan'

Nathan Wylde will have made enemies of the entire village of Emmerdale by the time he leaves, his alter ego has revealed. Lyndon Ogbourne is leaving the show after two years playing the nasty posh boy. Giving hints about his exit plot, he told Inside Soap: "Nathan doesn't get killed off, but by the end of it, he's managed to turn the whole village against him. "I'm so excited about doing these final few weeks, because it's Nathan at his most vulnerable, perhaps the most honest he's ever been. So many people finally see him for what he really is, even his own family. "In a way, it's quite a sad ending for him. It's the dethroning of Nathan, and that should lead people to wonder what he'll be like if he ever comes back." During his stint on the show, Nathan's evil antics have included setting up half-brother Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) for the murder of his dad Mark - an act that was really carried out by Nathan's mum Natasha (Amanda Donohoe). The entire Wylde clan is leaving the show this year, with Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) set to take over the reins at Home Farm.
