Emmerdale shares summer spoilers

Emmerdale has promised a summer of high drama and red hot storylines to match the temperatures outside.

Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) will be rocked by the revelation that John was not his father and he embarks on downward spiral. But the return of Danny Miller as Aaron Livesy is a big event in his life – will they rekindle their friendship, or become adversaries?

Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) faces a potentially life changing injury and has much to come to terms with. In this time of turmoil, will Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) be the woman he leans on? Or will he find himself pulled to the familiar comfort of another?

Cancer continues to dominate the life of Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth) as she works on building a legacy for daughter April, but how bad will this good cop go? With Ross Barton (Michael Parr) unaware of Donna’s secret, and his feelings for her ever growing, it appears he’ll embroil himself further in a life of crime.

Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) forges an unlikely business partnership with Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye), but it seems another unexpected relationship may follow. Will she revert to type and become the 'other' woman once more?

Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) delights in her wedding plans and excitedly looks forward to the big day. With Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) finally on side, and the pair tackling whatever obstacles are thrown at them, will this couple be the first in soap history to make it down the aisle with no hidden surprises?

All is set to be revealed on Emmerdale as the summer heats up...
