In 50 Shades of Green, Alan Titchmarsh looks back at the highlights of half a century of gardening
To celebrate over half a century of gardening, Alan Titchmarsh is taking a stroll down memory lane.
He's picking his finest 50 moments in 50 Shades of Green (Monday, 9pm, see our TV Guide for full details).
It’s an eclectic mix, beginning at Kew Gardens in London, where Alan first honed his horticultural skills in Kew’s glorious glasshouses.
He also revisits the gardens of some of our most magnificent stately homes.
In stately piles like Chatsworth and Hatfield House, he celebrates the humble veg plot, cooks for Mary Berry and marvels at places where art and gardening combine with dramatic results.
