Amber's reunited with Patches

Amber learns that her horse, Patches, has been sold but he suddenly turns up in Ramsay Street – Lou has bought him for her! She's wracked with guilt, however, as the main reason she's unhappy is that she misses her boyfriend, not her horse. Matt isn't pleased either – how's he going to pay for Patches' upkeep?

Bailey realises his parents have money worries and breaks the news to Amber who bravely announces that she doesn't want to keep Patches, to Matt's relief. Meanwhile, Matt and Lauren learn that son Mason was released from the juvenile detention centre several days ago but no one knows where he is? Later, as the family say goodbye to Patches, Mason watches on from the trees.

Lauren tells Vanessa that they're having trouble finding somewhere to live and suggests to Lucas that, as they're committed to staying in the hospital for several months, he could rent his home to the Turners. She and Lucas present her idea to them and they gratefully accept. Now they can stay in Erinsborough.

Ralphie delivers a stolen car for Chris to strip but Andrew convinces him to confess all to Lucas. His boss isn't happy but agrees to pay Ralphie off, bringing in the police to deal with the stolen car. When Ralphie finds out, however, he's furious and Chris worries he may retaliate…
