Arthur and Morven tie the knot!

Although he’s battling cancer, Dr Arthur Digby can’t wait to tie the knot with his fiancée, fellow Holby medic Morven Shreve - so Arthur’s delighted when Morven agrees to marry him in the hospital chapel that day! After a last-minute meeting with the hospital vicar, both Morven and Arthur are thrilled when her father, Austin, returns to Holby following his recent liver transplant to give them his blessing. Arthur’s joy is short-lived, however, when he gets some terrible news.

When Arthur tells Morven, they make the heart-breaking decision to call off the wedding. But when a surprise gift arrives in the shape of a telegram boy with a special message for Arthur, he decides the wedding WILL be going ahead as planned! Friends and family look on as Arthur and Morven say their vows and, aside from a minor hiccup involving Morven’s wedding ring, the ceremony goes without a hitch. Later, as the celebrations continue with fish and chips and champagne at Albie’s bar, the new Mr and Mrs Digby couldn’t be happier…

Mo’s horrified when she wakes up in bed next to obstetrician Mr Thompson - it turns out they slept together after he told her he was heading to Sweden to work on womb transplants. At work, Mr T delights in telling Mo he’s rejected the job in Sweden. So he’s gutted when Mo says last night only happened because he was leaving… and it won’t be happening again! Later, Mr T bids farewell to Mo, saying she’s a hurtful person and that he’s glad he’s leaving. Mo races to the airport to catch Mr T, hoping she hasn’t let a good man slip through her fingers…

Also, Serena's forced to reassess her working life when she makes a mistake which has devastating consequences for the hospital and its staff.
