Four teams are left, and after tonight’s heat another will leave the kitchen.

In the miniatures challenge, they must make 36 éclairs and 36 Mont Blancs in two hours – tough even by Crème de la Crème standards!

According to judge Benoit, 'everything can go wrong with an éclair' – including sticking to his and Cherish's strict rules. Each éclair must be 12cm long – and Cherish has brought her trusty ruler…

Next is the showpiece: a multi-tiered wedding cake. As the pressure mounts, it's all building up to the most nerve-wracking moment of all – carrying the gigantic, teetering cakes to the display tables.

Deep breath, chefs…
