Ben Fogle meets the Cofer family in Outer Mongolia
Motivated by a desire to spread the Christian faith to the furthest corners of the world, in 2003 Micky and Trina Cofer packed up their family and moved from the US to Outer Mongolia.
‘We didn’t even know where Mongolia was… just that it was cold and the climate was harsh,’ Trina says.
Ben Fogle travels to meet the couple and experience life in this remote community.
Initially cynical about the Cofers’ intentions, Ben is soon won over by their kindness and hospitality and the way they have made a real difference to the village they now call home.
