Vlogger Robbie Cumming swaps YouTube for BBC4 in this new five-part series Canal Boat Diaries doing what he does best – showing us what life is like living on Britain’s canals.
He keeps things pretty much the same as his fans like it, shooting everything on his smartphone, plus a couple of small onboard cameras and the odd drone as he gently makes his way onboard his 42ft narrowboat Naughty Lass (pictured above).
Roaring off at a walking pace, this week he takes in the historic Trent and Mersey Canal from Shardlow in Derbyshire to Etruria Junction in Stoke on Trent.
As he travels to his final destination of Liverpool, he'll be exploring some of the country’s finest industrial and natural heritage sights.
