Roo speaks to Nicole about launching a fashion line for the surf club. Charlie sees Ruby with Casey and asks why she's not in school - Ruby tells her she's going to Casey's science competition. Charlie asks Leah's advice on how to control Ruby. Gina reckons Romeo was always looking for an excuse to quit school. She tells April's mother that her daughter isn't in school. Romeo bumps into Nicole on the beach and talks through things with her. He tells her he's quit school and she passes this onto Indi. Meanwhile, Angelo disagrees with Brax's way of running the business and knows he has to do something about it. Dex visits April to talk about her condition and comforts her by saying she can get help. April is still embarrassed and reluctant to do anything about it. Charlie apologies to Ruby and congratulates Casey on winning the science competition. Romeo knows his options are either school or a job but he's stuck on what he wants to do. When Indi comes over to talk to him, he tells her she's not a part of his life anymore. Angelo is still having trouble with Brax and when he sees him flirting with Charlie, he threatens him. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
