Sergeant June Ackland and Inspector Gina Gold present DS John Heaton with the incriminating emails between DAC Georgia Hobbs and property developer Brian Stevens, and they are taken aback when Heaton says he will deal with Georgia rather than passing it on to the DPS. Having seen Heaton kissing Georgia, June's convinced that he's also corrupt. Meanwhile, DC Mickey Webb is trying to trace the driver who ran June off the road the night before. June keeps quiet about the fact that the driver crashed into her in order to steal the CCTV tape featuring Brian and Councillor Jerry Davis making a dodgy deal. It becomes clear that the driver is Brian's son, Ian Scott, and Ian and Brian are hauled in for questioning. June tells Mickey that Heaton and Georgia are both involved, and she's furious when Mickey hands the case back to Heaton. On the Aldbourne Estate, uniformed officers have a riot on their hands as the resident evictions get underway. The police manage to gain control and, later, a satisfied Heaton announces that Sun Hill will not be closing. Back at the station, Heaton hands the DPS a tape of Georgia confessing her part in the development corruption and Georgia is arrested and led away for questioning. As June leaves Heaton's office, she's stunned to see her ex-husband DS Jim Carver arrive at Sun Hill...
