Death in Paradise sees DI Jack Mooney investigate the mysteriious death of a zoo owner killed by a tranquilliser dart
Death in Paradise sees DI Jack Mooney investigate the mysteriious death of a zoo owner killed by a tranquilliser dart
Here comes trouble!
As they investigate a murder at the zoo, DI Mooney (Ardal O'Hanlon) and team are also preparing for Dwayne’s replacement, the Commissioner’s niece, Ruby Patterson (played by newcomer Shyko Amos).
What Ruby lacks in experience she certainly makes up for in enthusiasm – the only problem is that she’s proving more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to crime-solving…
Meanwhile, Jack has a more pressing matter on his mind: it turns out that he inadvertently signed up to a charity swim, and Catherine is determined to make him go through with it.
Look out for another bunch of great guest stars, including real-life husband and wife Jonathan Kerrigan and Shelley Conn.

As TV Times Highlights Editor I get to hear about all the latest TV shows coming soon. Here at TVT HQ we are in the privileged position of selecting the best programmes from across all the channels and streaming platforms. Our mission is to make it easier for our readers to decide what to watch - and give them lots of choice of genres - all the latest shows, plus some nostalgic choices we call hidden gems, too. My career began with a postgraduate degree in periodical journalism (ahem, yes old school!) in 1991 and I’ve worked in TV media since 2000.
