Death Row 2018 with Trevor McDonald

Trevor McDonald - Why I'm back on Death Row for my new ITV documentary

Five years on, Sir Trevor McDonald returns to Indiana State Prison to talk to lifers and death row inmates.

Five years on, Sir Trevor McDonald returns to Indiana State Prison to talk to lifers and death row inmates.

He’s reacquainted with Ronald Sanford, who committed double murder aged 13, and introduced to William Gibson, a chilling serial killer who boasts, ‘I could just kill a person and go out to dinner.’

When Trevor arrives, the prison has been on lockdown, with the inmates confined to their cells because of a drug problem.

And thanks to another drug problem – a lack of the lethal toxin to administer in the new ‘Death Chamber’ – there have been no executions since his last visit.
