Seeing Michael devastated by Tash's reaction, Emilia believes the only chance they have of reconciling is for her to leave them alone. She decides to leave Erinsborough and return to her parents in Serbia. Michael is distraught but things only deteriorate when Tash continues to reject the idea of reconciliation. This, combined with Lucas's recriminations, pushes Michael to call Emilia - he's going to leave with her. Now Tash has to deal with the consequences... Seemingly getting the cold shoulder from Jessica, Karl believes she's punishing him for the break-up. Rhys is also suffering Jessica's temper and urges Karl to let her win in the Fun Run to make her feel she's got one over on him. Karl, however, believes she's better than that and runs the race in earnest, only to fall just before the line with cramp. Jessica believes she's being patronised and Karl remonstrates with her, claiming she needs to get over their split. But Jessica explains that her annoyance is due to the sick relative she now has to look after and makes it embarrassingly clear how little Karl meant to her.
