Yee-ha! Dave and Si are in America, where eight billion chickens a year are eaten – more than anywhere else in the world. They start in Richmond, Virginia, the birthplace of fried chicken.

Known as the gospel bird, fried chicken was traditionally served after church on a Sunday, with many family recipes being kept secret for hundreds of years.

After cooking their own fried chicken for a gospel choir in Richmond, they help make a stew for 700 people in Brunswick and then it's time to find their Stetsons and BBQ Texas-style. Finger-lickin' good.
