Home and Away spoilers: Dean Thompson meets his long-lost dad!
Dean finally comes face-to-face with his dad Rick, who ran out on Dean and his mum Karen years earlier. But will it be a happy family reunion?
Dean Thompson is in for a DOUBLE shocker when he finally meets his runaway dad Rick Booth and discovers he also has a secret half-sister Kayla!
Unfortunately, it isn't hugs all round as former football player Rick confesses he didn't discover Dean's mum Karen was pregnant until after the baby was born. By that time, Rick was married with a child on the way.
Sensing wealthy Rick has no place in his life for either Dean or his mum Karen, currently receiving help for her mental health problems, Dean turns around and leaves. Is this the end for Dean, Rick and Kayla?
Meanwhile, Maggie Astoni is back in the hospital for a health check, with her worried husband Ben by her side.
She wants to be in fighting fit form to take on the State 8 challenge to climb some of the tallest mountain peaks in Australia and raise money for cancer research. But is recovering cancer patient Maggie pushing herself too hard with her exercise routine?
Elsewhere, hospital nurse Jasmine Delaney and gym owner Robbo are all loved-up down on the beach.
However, with Robbo still committed to his IVF plans with Jasmine's boss, Tori Morgan, is Jasmine really 100 per cent comfortable with the fact her new boyfriend is about to have a baby with another woman?
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
