So Ziggy's in for a shock when she enters restaurant Salt and discovers Simone is back, back, back and hasn't moved to the city after all! To cover the fact he has started a secret affair with Simone, Brody quickly lies that Simone is working at Salt until she can find another job to go to in the city. But will his wife see through his lies?

But just as Ziggy crosses the finish line, disaster strikes when she's struck down with severe heatstroke and on the verge of collapsing...

Unaware of the drama unfolding outside, Brody and lover Simone are getting passionate at the Caravan Park and he fails to notice his phone ringing...

Meanwhile, with all the interest in his renewed relationship with first wife Martha, Alf Stewart snaps and warns family friends Marilyn Chambers and John Palmer to stop interfering in his love life!

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters.

Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave?

Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.
