Alex Polizzi visits a Weymouth hotel with major family problems
After 17 years of managing the Richmoor Hotel in Weymouth, Dorset, poor Loraine Godwin is at the end of her tether. Four of her seven children work for her, but the tension between them and the rest of the staff is unbearable and the exasperated head chef keeps threatening to walk out. Enter Alex Polizzi, who is taken aback when Loraine begins to cry before Alex has even had a look around. It quickly becomes clear that there are some serious problems with the chain of command – but they won't be solved unless Loraine gets tough. Can she follow no-nonsense Alex's example?
