The comedian John Bishop chats to the dancer about his 15 years on Strictly Come Dancing, and the challenges fame has posed in his personal life
Former Strictly dancer Brendan Cole is this week’s guest, and opens up to John Bishop about how his relationship with partner Natasha Kaplinsky in series one of the celebrity dance contest kicked off the whole media obsession with the so-called ‘curse of Strictly’.
He also recalls his spat with head judge Len Goodman, revealing that it happened while he was grieving for his late father, and sheds light on why he also fell out with Len’s replacement, Shirley Ballas.
Remembering being teased about his love of dance as a boy in his native New Zealand, Brendan suggests that might be the root cause of why he is so quick to take offence…
