Tyler, Brennan and Nate arrive to throw Karl an impromptu birthday bash. Susan and Karl return home intending to spend a low-key evening together and Susan admits she’s looking forward to some downtime when Tyler moves out. But there’s a knock at the door, and they’re surprised to find Ben, distraught, has arrived to stay with them.
Sheila’s mortified that Paul knows she has feelings for him, while Paul’s left reeling but Sheila’s mortified that Paul knows she has feelings for him, while Paul’s left reeling but agrees not to tell Naomi.. Later, as Sheila wistfully observes a tender kiss between Paul and Naomi, Naomi clocks her look and tries to reassure her – she’ll find a man one day too. Sheila claims that’s the last thing she needs… but deep down, we see she’s heart-achingly lonely.
Inspired by Aaron’s success as a male dancer, a determined Josh works on his moves. But he’s mortified when Naomi springs him, until she teaches him some moves. He performs his new routine for Aaron, who is impressed and offers to expand his act to include him. Josh is stoked and they call themselves ‘The Heat.’
