After collapsing at the wedding, Libby is rushed to hospital where it's revealed that she is pregnant. Karl and Susan are shocked and Dan is completely surprised. But will the risk to Libby's life in continuing the pregnancy cause rifts between the family? However, the party must go on and the wedding guests try to enjoy Dan and Libby's reception without them. While Rebecca catches the bridal bouquet, Cass' jealousy sends her over the edge and she goes overboard to compete for Paul's attention. The Parkers continue to argue about Miranda bringing up Bridget's baby with Miranda at odds with both Bridget and Steve. Later, she finds an untended baby, and takes it to search for the mother. By the time the frantic mother finds Miranda with her child, the police have been called. Crucially, when Steve is questioned, his doubts prompt the police to put Miranda in protective custody under the Mental Health Act. Rachel reveals to Zeke that the letter she received is a scholarship to study in London.
