Miss Marple's (Julia McKenzie) old friend Father Gorman (Nicholas Parsons) is done for in this episode (first shown back in 2010).

He is murdered after taking a dying woman's last confession, but not before he sends his sleuthing friend a list of names the woman gave him.

Miss Marple packs her bags and heads to London, where she is drawn to The Pale Horse Inn and its sinister landlady (Pauline Collins). Watch out for a cameo from Holly Willoughby.
