A new series brings a new case for criminal profiler Inger Johanne Vik (Melinda Kinnaman), who’s now pregnant and settled down with kindly cop Ingvar from series one.

However, as the gripping Swedish drama returns with a double bill, the loved-up law enforcers’ domestic bliss is soon (predictably) disrupted.

Stockholm is preparing for a state visit from Helen Tyler, the US president (Kim Cattrall) – and there’s a shock for Inger when she spots in the entourage Warren Schifford (an exceptionally creepy Greg Wise), a sinister face from her own past.

Schifford is Helen Tyler’s personal advisor – but has he got her interests at heart?

And what will he do when he sees Inger again?
