Is there anything about Morecambe and Wise that we don't already know? That's what you may be thinking, but this two-part documentary is so affectionate that it's hard not to be charmed.

It helps that Eric's widow Joan and son and daughter Gary and Gail play a large part, as well as well-known faces such as Michael Grade, who took Eric and Ernie to the BBC, and Millicent Martin, who appeared on ITV’s Two of a Kind with the duo in the 1960s.
