Celebrity dancers from the past 15 series share their Strictly experiences in a one-off while this year's contestants rehearse their debut dances

We’ve already had a tantalising peep at 2018’s Strictly line-up when the celebs were matched with their professional partners last week, but to whet our appetites for the their dancefloor debuts next Saturday, this nostalgia-fest commemorates the past 15 series by looking back on some of the show’s finest moments.

Jeremy Vine, Deborah Meaden, Ruth Langsford, Molly King, Daisy Lowe, Nancy Dell’Olio and Judy Murray are among those sharing their memories of donning spray tan and sparkles to battle for the glitterball trophy, and they also offer up tips for this year’s gang.

This Morning host Ruth Langsford was thrilled when she was granted her wish and landed stalwart Strictly pro Anton du Beke as her partner in last year’s series.

After a fun aeroplane-themed samba in week five, the couple stole the show in week seven with a paso doble that ended with Ruth collapsing on top of Anton!

Ruth Langsford and Anton Du Beke impress in the paso doble

‘Strictly was a once in a lifetime opportunity and Anton is such good fun and very kind,’ says Ruth, 58.

‘We laughed so much in training and were quite rude, we had to be careful to remember when we had microphones on!’
