When an old friend of Karl's dies, it's Susan, not new girlfriend Jessica, who supports him and gets him through the funeral when the grieving widow asks Karl to play a song in honour of his dead mate. Later, after dinner with Jessica, Karl ends up inviting Susan round to talk over old times. Lou finally comes up with a plan to replace the $8,000 he took from Kyle's account - he'll supply Kyle with cheap, inferior tiles for a building job and get the customer to pay over the odds. But Lou gets a shock when Kyle reveals that the customers are Toadie and Sonya, and decides to change supplier at the last moment. Toadie has a lot of ground to make up with Sonya and the renovation just keeps getting in the way, so he decides to take her away for the weekend to make it up to her.
