Rejected by a number of TV stations when it was pitched to them by creator Alex Horne, Taskmaster was eventually picked up by Dave and became an instant hit with critics and audiences when it aired in 2015.

Series six sensibly doesn’t mess with its winning formula – Greg Davies announces the tasks, Alex Horne acts as his impish sidekick, while the contestants do their best to complete what are often ridiculous challenges.
