Stingray and Dylan are relieved to learn they're both suitable donors for baby Kerry. But Dylan's upset when he discovers his blood carries toxins from the time he was poisoned, and worse that he may have unwittingly caused Kerry's leukaemia. Keen to help Kerry, Stingray takes Dylan's place as the donor, leaving Dylan to take his fury out on Paul for his role in the poisoning. But when Paul shows no sympathy, Dylan punches him to the ground, and accuses him of being sub-human. Paul is annoyed when he turns up at Ned's flat and sees him showing off his expensive new toys and entertaining a group of friends. Later, Ned riles Paul when he suggests he's jealous of Ned's friendships, because Paul clearly only has enemies. On her second week on the job, Carmella realises Ray's underhand tactics at the fruit market are threatening her business and decides to play dirty to get what she wants, much to Oliver's concern. Also, Karl struggles as Toadie's secretary and enlists Susan and Zeke to help him out. And Susan attempts to seduce Karl to get him back to his old self, but is mortified when she's interrupted by Zeke.
