Kat is sure that there's something going on between Stacey and Ryan. A scheming Kat sends Ryan round to Stacey's with a delivery. Stacey leaves Ryan with Lily to run an errand and returns to find Ryan with the social worker. Ryan and Stacey pretend that they're a couple and the social worker is satisfied Lily is in good hands. Janine is worried when she learns Ryan has gone to the Slaters. Janine steals keys for the Slaters' and lets herself into the house. Stacey and Ryan are upstairs in bed... Billy is on the outer with Jay, who is lavishing all his attention on Phil and he suggests to a cagey Julie they visit their son. Meanwhile, Jay wants in on a deal when he sees Phil buying knock-off jewellery to sell on. Phil sends Jay to collect his wad of cash from Connor. Jay panics about what to tell Phil when an unimpressed Connor takes some of the cash for himself. Peter asks Ian if he and Whitney can have a joint birthday party. Ian thinks that Bianca put Whitney up to asking and refuses. Meanwhile, it's clear that Whitney is getting fed up with Peter. A smitten Peter is completely oblivious.
